yay i shall update more. (: lets start with CROSS COUNTRY 2008! :D (last friday) it was so fun, funnest cross country ever (: & its our last one! :( oh well. it was more fun than expected really. because firstly it was held at west coast park & it was such a nice pleasant walk unlike turf city or the other place i forgot how to spell! :( & also because 4S is a cool class :D haha.
yeah so grace got the class to decide to run & walk together. HOWEVER, some people started running so fast that after 30sec jasmine lipin & i were like AH FORGET IT, WALK! so we happily walked throughout the whole time, getting high by singing all sorts of songs we could think off (: like HOME (both chinese & english version) & the barney song & whatever else! ha ha. xD
teacher's F1 race was pretty cool too. mrs janet ng & mrs elizabeth lee were making funny noises hahahahh! & OLSON won the teacher's race wheee! but the outcome of the race was really just me wanting to try the go-kart too :D
after cross country the MGhandbellchoir08 headed to RYSC for lunch! & shower too haha. i kinda miss the toilets there :) & the aunty who's in charge of the towels is still the same haha! haven't been there for ages.. let alone swim, & then the aunty is still the same..(: food there improved & it was really fun. yeah for the taxi part just go to cherry's blog, she updated on that :)
practice was rather okay i guess. except for one super annoying part, which dosent deserve to be posted here. if you wanna know, just ask me :) haha.
thenthen! BAND[AGE] full dress rehersal. obviously when i first report to the audi i dont have a tag right, but the very moment i put one foot into the audi cheryl seah just chased me out like a chicken or something cus i dont have a tag & the rehersal started already (i was reporting late, cus of cca which ended at 530pm) hahaha then eunice came to my rescue :D put the bells in the staffroom & then watched the rehersal upstairs in the gallery where i was stationed. some bands are just so annoying, even the ushers could feel it alright. hahah which is one of the reasons why i didn't want ten minutes late to win :) anyhow, redeeming riots is still kinda overall better i feel.
run through 1 ended at about 830? or before that. then while everyone went for dinner, the ushers had to practice the voting part. yeah, then we were let off while the rest could only go home at 12?! poor souls. haha.
saturday! went to town really early in the morning & did my borders shopping. unfortunately the dumb me brought the wrong card so i was $80 deprived that day.. could only spend 20? argggh no fun. bought another max lucado book which cost 30bucks. why are his books so expensive! >:( anyhow, i shall go back another day with my $80 card & invest in more books! :)
wandered around town for awhile & i really never felt so bored in town alright. finally met people for lunch & yeah, awesome fun :) love my friends, haha.
reached school at an incredibly early hour of 245pm when i was suppose to only report at 6! grace lipin & i started scouting for powerpoints where we can charge our phone & camera hahaa. found one outside the audi & then started doing work/reading book there.. until ms kek started to get us to do stuff for her. time passed really fast after that & the 1st cip shift started! jasmine & i did the most ingenious thing everrr :) we helped with the setting up of the 4S stall & we told shuen to clock cip hours for us & SHE DID! :)))))) so the rest of our time was not spent in vain.. it was spent clocking cip hours! frm 420 to 6pm i think HAHHAAHA!
ushering! okay i wish i was in the ushering ministry in church cus then i'll have more experience! but anyhow, it was fun, & more stressful than i thought it would be. thank God for teachers to help us! because it was kinda really only lydia & i up there, jasmine & joanne was the ticket people. some guys came to create trouble.. they went to unlock the other door at the end of the gallery & started going in & out! so i went to ask them what in the world were they doing & then they started asking me weird qs & not answering my sensible qs hmph. i was never so happy to see mr david loh come to my rescue whee :) yeah then there was that couple that refused to sit at the seats that i ushered them to because it was right at the end. what to do?! who ask you come in late! tsktsktsk. then they started defying both mrs cheong & i & then in the end.. i think they left. crazy people. haha.
rang the bells during intermission & i never knew that i didn't have much strength to shakeshakeshake those bells! however us shaking/ringing the bells resulted in alot of sec4s coming up & asking if they could try too hahaa! finally shepherded the whole crowd back in & the show started again & ANOTHER big problem in the gallery occured again. cus, some people swapped seats during the intermission & so those who came in later found that alot of their seats were taken up & started sitting on the aisle & behind. which was so not good because the committee already arranged the voting slips in such a way that there's exactly enough for each row. yeah, managed to get those seated on the floor to random seats for awhile so that the voting thing wouldn't be so messed up.
then the cleanup after the whole thing. urgh urgh urgh! if you wanna break the rules & eat inside the audi.. AT LEAST CLEAR THE RUBBISH WITH YOU LA! I found one coke glass bottle (that 4H was selling outside), macs cup & curry sauce (?!?!??!), & clean & clear oil blotter ewww ewwww ewwwwwww. :( bully me hmph! yeah & of course programmes & tickets everywhere too. why dont these people wanna keep the tickets i wonder.. i would keep mine!
quick thoughts on the bands :)
firstly, reedeming the riot totally deserve to win! :)))) yay yay yay i was nicely happy when they announced that ten mintues late was 2nd! :DDDD ten minutes late annoyed emma like crap during the rehersal so i dont really like them :( plus, the lead singer's voice wasn't as strong as reedeming riot one :) finding michelle was totally annoying, & i thought that one hot minute should have been like 3rd or something. they were pretty nice :) so yay, i'm still overall happy with band[age].
reached home at 1130plus, did that blogpost at a crazy time & plonked down to sleep!
TODAY! we went to pulau ubin for YM activites sunday: DESTINATION AGAIN. hahaha it was good fun & enjoyable. only deborah & i turning up from our group isn't entirely a bad thing because our group ended up being really fun. the both of us, adriel, dom, ian, david & earnest. david & earnest was from adriel's previous group mad victory! so when you get mad victory & chosen 1s together, you get MAD 1s! hahahaha ingenious eh ;) & it really helps, having 5guys & only 2girls in the group, cus they help you win everything hahaha! we played captain's ball with some sec1 group & it was hilarious ! dom was being mean & blocking this guy with all his might that was half his size. & then adriel got bored being the goal keeper at one part cus they were throwing the super light ball here & there over the other side. hahah but yay, i love captain's ball. though this ball is so light, which is why i keep doing stupid stuff with it bleagh :(
yeah we did other games, totally skipped the disgusting & toturous ones (not because the girls opposed taking part, but dom hah!) the funny one was the broken telephone one. had to say last year's ym camp verse. & it went along the song "one thing i ask" which is really nice :) yeah & then we were like adriel can be the last one! & he was like "yeah so you can blabber whatever you want & then i'll just say the verse at the end." HAHAA but we still got it wrong because adriel was saying another version.. & we just suck at broken telephone haha.

lunch was good too! i chionged for 3 servings hahaha! & i'm so addicted to mussels now :DDDD deborah thought i was crazy, dom thought i was not because he was doing exactly the same thing hahaha!
slept on the way back, zzzzzz. so now i'm totally pooooofed. haha. i loveee church alot :) its my favourite place to be in haha :)
ability to be surprised by God! haha He always surprises us :) its just whether we wanna realize it & thank Him for it.
